The week in Thailand was wonderful. Bangkok was a busy go-go place where as Koh Chang the Elephant Island was a place for chillaaxing. A must see crazy place in Bangkok is the road of Khao San; A disco hell-kinda place at the first look, but you can have fun there and meet lots of backpackers and even eat insects if you like =) We had really much fun socializing and took many pictures but unfortunately we can´t look back at them as my camera was stolen in a bar =( From that day on we decided not to take the cam with us to the nightlife anymore. China Town was closed (!!!) so we visited the Night Market where there were many ladyboys (!) and thai people pulling our sleeves to see "Ping Pong" shows. It´s a good place to buy stuff (they even sold stunning weapons and throwing stars =/) but you have to have the skill to haggle otherwise the sellers make easy money.

| Goodbye Bangkok... |
Bangkok was too buzzy and loud and we wanted to go to a more quiet place. Koh Chang was the perfect destination for that. It´s a beautiful paradise where both of us want to go back <3 Especially the Lonely beach which used to be a hippies paradise was wonderful. We met many happy people, the nature was gorgeous, it was cheap to eat and have beverages, and best of all you can ride elephants! We slept in a tree bungalow made for two and used common open air showers. The first night in our bungalow we had a gekko guesting our inner roof and the second day ants in our bed but what else can you expect in the middle of a jungle =P There was even apes running free on the sides of the roads! Lonely Beach was a wonderful place to eat, it was cheap and healthy. We loved the fruitsmoothies made of Fresh fruits, banana pancakes and all sort of thaifood. It was the best place for partying also. We came to realise that there was a party everyday at some spot in the beach area, you just had to follow the music =). The best party was at Magic Garden where they had a open air party where thai people and backpackers danced togehter, there we even met a older thai hippie that had served our breakfast! Even though everyday could have been a party day we decided to do stuff also ;) We went to the beach, swam in the warm water and got a thai massage and did a bit of hiking also <3 The best part was ofcourse the elephant riding that had been our only plan from the beginning. It was wonderful! We were so high up because we got the biggest elephant, Rambo but it was so gentle to us so the ride wasnt too bumpy. We even got to ride it alone on it´s neck but it knew excatly what to do and took the time to eat a bit trees as it went by =D. It was really nice also to hike when the landscape was so spectacular but it was tough as the road went uphill almost all the time and it was over 30 degrees hot! All the time when we were in Koh Chang the temperature was around 30 and hot in the night also, but it was nice...All in all it was a nice place for holidays! Lets see then what Australia has to offer =) So long!
