Bangkok and we are soooo unprepared!!! This is how it feels when you havent read any kind of guidebooks...hopping on the taxi and just going with the instinct seems to be our flow =P

We are trying to survive the jetlag from being on the plane; we boarded at 16.40 traveled in 9 hours and landed at 8 in the morning. The time on the airplane passed quickly though; we watched 2 movies, laughed at the Finnish drunks and tried to sleep. Pussikalja is a movie that we thought could give a warm feeling about Finland but it did right the opposite; It cannot be recommended to anyone! Now we are just waiting at the hostel to get our room, feeling kind of useless and superduper tired...

 We have heard that people here are very kind and helpful but we already got an other kind of picture because of our unhelpful receptionist! Hopefully this picture about thai people will change during our week here.... Speaking of that, Katja wonders where all the shemales are or are they always around already =D 

Arrived to Bangkok!

Our hostel room

The plan for today is to get some sleep (so that we dont imagine being on the plane anymore...we feel totally psychotic! Imagining beeing on a boat too) when we get our room, participate in an information meeting at the hostel and maybe go out to enjoy the bangkok nightlife in the evening. If anyone knows must-do-things feel free to tell us! Fortunately we have internet close at hand so that we dont feel totally lost X)
Ah the temperature change to Finland is about 55 degrees and we can totally feel it!
